The words drifted to her ears.  Clothing scattered everywhere and yet nothing fit.  Nothing ever fit.  With every new piece the realization crawled up her spine submerging her in a pool of doubt.  Manic doubt.  On.  Off.  On- off- on- off on off on off onoffonoffonoffonoff.  Hands shaking.  Chewing on her lip.  Sharp taste of copper.  delicious.  Nothing to cut anymore.  Nothing precious enough.  Not numb enough.  Wave upon wave off... in--sta--bil--i--tea, would be great.  Calm the nerves.  Stare at the mirror.  Stare at the eyes that inevitably stare back.  Inescapable... even from myself.  Herself.  Themselves.  More black.  It's grounding.
